A Mother's Early Morning  Prayer

Andi Arnovitz

2012

A hand-assembled Victorian carousel book. Using the late Hava Pinhas Cohen’s poignant poem about motherhood and its challenges, there are six panels of archivally printed etchings with drawings, laser cut, and the book has embedded magnets in the front and back covers that snap together creating a three-dimensional theater. An edition of 23 handmade books.
