A Year without Summer

A Year Without Summer is the last chapter in the trilogy of works by Ella Rothschild created for the Batsheva Dance Company. This trilogy consists of the stage work – Summer Snow (performed by the Batsheva Dancers); and the digital work On The Edge of Nowhere. A Year Without Summer is a book of illustrations constructed as an intimate diary that is a direct non-textual visual experience that connects the inner world of the creator to the reader / viewer.
Each book contains a hidden gift-two colored illustrated postcards.
