Animal Tales and Other Poems
Andi Arnovitz
2010
Six poems by Jane Medved accompanied by large moody etchings, cover a range of human experiences, from divorce, the love for a father, the terror of being a mother of soldiers, to animals appearing in dreams. The etchings come very close to looking like mezzotints. This artist's book is a great example of when words and images align.
