The book critically engages with the dictionary definitions of homosexuality and offers alternative, sometimes humorous, definitions for a range of concepts such as love, partnership, sexuality, family, and more. It includes artworks, letters, and texts by numerous artists and contributors. The book was published alongside Gil Nader’s exhibition “Conquering His Desire” at Borochov Gallery, Tel Aviv, curated by Ilana Tenenbaum.

Michael Gluzman, a literary scholar, was born in Haifa on the 27th of Adar II, 1962 (April 2) to parents of South American origin. He grew up in Herzliya and Tel Aviv. He earned his BA and MA in General Literary Theory at Tel Aviv University. In 1993, he received a PhD in Comparative Literature from University of California, Berkeley.
From 1998 to 2001, he lectured in the Department of Hebrew Literature at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he also founded the journal Mikan for the Study of Hebrew Literature. In 2001, he was appointed Senior Lecturer in the Department of Literature at Tel Aviv University, later promoted to Associate Professor, and served as department head.
In parallel, he is a certified yoga instructor and runs the studio Yoga on HaAvoda Street. He lives in Tel Aviv and Mettet in the Galilee.
Gil Nadar, photographer, sculptor, and installation designer, born 1968. Since 1998 has lived and worked in Rotterdam. Since 1994, works with Moti Porat - Gil & Moti. He studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design, Jerusalem, and graduated hie BFA with Honors (1990-1994), then moved to England to study at Slade School of Art, London (1994). He received the Creative Excellence Grant (Sharett) from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation for Painting and Sculpture in 1996.
