An apple on a flag

The notebook documents the moments of shock on the first day of the October War — a war that broke out unexpectedly and left Israeli society wounded, stunned, and broken.

The flag — a symbol of national pride — was stained black.
The events included desecration, trampling, and harm to innocent civilians and border communities. A boundary was crossed — both a physical and moral one — and since then, many "sacred cows" have been slaughtered. The question of the boundary between good and evil remains open, with no clear answer.
