Devochki
Natalia Zourabova
2020
The artist book Devochki was published in 2020, in connection with the solo exhibition Devochki, shown at the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art in 2019. The artist book consists of 80 color reproductions of paintings, a foreword by Dr. Aya Lurie and a dialogue between the artist and the curator Monika Szewczyk. The book reveals the private life of the artist Natalia Zourabova and her teenage daughter Esther at their flat in Jaffa. The book offers an unembellished reflective gaze of a woman artist on a mundane life.
