Escape Will Get You Tonight
2025
The book Escape Will Get You Tonight is a catalogue accompanying the exhibition held at Kav 16 Gallery in January 2025. It includes images from the film, the installation, the work process, and texts.
Elvis impersonators, a family curse, supernatural entities, and an escape room operated by a band — these are among the images that reflect the spirit of the project and signal to the reader that escape and pursuit are the natural order of things.
The essays featured in the book include: 'Conclusions on Doubles in the History of Cinema' by the exhibition’s curator Nir Evron; Ido Feder’s 'Search for Freedom Through the Manifestation of the House Entity', and 'A Look at the Elvis Impersonator Phenomenon as a Reflection of Contemporary Culture' by Mika Sharetok.
