Four Poems by Esther Raab

Andi Arnovitz

2019

Esther Raab (1894-1981) was a beloved Israeli poet who has fallen into obscurity. Her poetry celebrates the land of Israel, its land, flora and fauna, and history. On one side of the etchings are soft ground etchings of natural plants that grow here, and on the others are graphic etchings inspired by the poems. The four poems are silkscreened in both Hebrew and English.
