Gilad Ophir

2001

In this book, Gilad Ophir Examines historical, social, and institutional processes, natural and artificial, as they are reflected in the landscape, in different types of architecture, and in the abstraction of objects torn from their environmental context. The works are local and address the local culture, while maintaining a dialogue with the history of photography, revealing the mutual interest between American photography and its European origins.
