Between times

This notebook is one of a set of twelve created over the two years since the outbreak of the October 7 war. Since that day, time has felt to me like one long, unbroken day, with no end yet in sight. The works, too, are combinations of creations drawn from different times, artists, and places.

The work is removed from its original context—of time and place—and reassembled through its connection with images from other works, along with the addition of drawing or painting. Thus, for example, a work by Reuven Rubin resides within a shared narrative alongside a sculpture by Auguste Rodin.
