Would We Ever Heal?

Naama Rahamim

2026

An ongoing documentary project that emerged from life in the aftermath of October 7. Through everyday photography, the project observes a reality suspended between routine and trauma, between life moving forward and a sense of paralysis and uncertainty. Rather than documenting dramatic events, the photographs focus on ordinary moments and details—landscapes, objects, and fleeting encounters—that become testimony to a broader psychological and social condition.

Photography serves as a means of holding on to the present and creating a personal archive of a period in which the future seems uncertain. Moving between the personal diary and the documentary, the project explores the relationship between memory, time, and hope, leaving one question open: Will we ever heal?
