Yarden Hirsh (1996–2016) was an Israeli multidisciplinary artist. Despite his young age, he produced a wide-ranging body of work that included painting, drawing, collage, comics, sculpture, animation, and video. Hirsch began creating in childhood and later developed an independent and highly expressive visual language, working across diverse media and techniques. His work is characterized by an intense combination of imagery drawn from popular culture, alongside elements of raw humor and, at times, darker and more alienated tones.
In 2015, he began his studies in the Department of Culture, Creation, and Production at Sapir College. In February 2016, he died at the age of 19.
Following his death, his works were published in the artist’s book Yarden Hirsch: Works (2018), edited by artist Gil Yefman, which includes hundreds of works across different media. His work has also been presented in a comprehensive exhibition in Tel Aviv.
