Tamir Zadok (born 1979, Holon) is an artist and graduate of the Beit Berl College School of Art (HaMidrasha) and holds an MA in Film from Tel Aviv University. His work, blending political critique, irony, and humor, explores issues of identity, masculinity, the military, nationalism, Arabness, and Mizrahi heritage. Zadok employs a wide range of photographic genres—from amateur snapshots to war photography—and often inserts his own image into the works to challenge conventions and stereotypes. He has held solo exhibitions at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and MS MOCA, and has participated in group exhibitions internationally, including at Tate London, Resò Torino, the Latvia Biennale, and HIAP Helsinki.
