Here Lives Happily Mr. Poetic and Mr. Pathetic

Yehoshua (Shuka) Glotman

2000

This is a book that accompanied the exhibition of the same name at the Tel Aviv Museum curated by the late Nili Goren, and consisted of photography using various toy cameras, installation, sound and three-dimensional plastic elements. The catalogue is a kind of compilation that contains a cacophony to echo the multitude of expressions that appeared in the exhibition. Each group of works has a different type of paper, you can take out the booklets and put them back in. This is an artist’s book/catalogue, which seeks to eliminate hierarchies and offer the reader options for intervention. The text was written by the late Meir Agassi at my request, a year before he was killed in a car accident.
