An artist’s book that accompanied the exhibition Seven Primates (Basis Gallery, Herzliya, 2018, curator: Shlomit Breuer). The book was produced with the support of the Israel Lottery Council for Culture and the Arts and contains reproductions and texts on Kliger’s recent and previous works. The authors of the texts are Tami Katz-Freiman, an independent curator, researcher and art critic; Oded Wolkstein, essayist, translator and editor; and Shlomit Breuer, curator of the exhibition.

Moran Kliger lives and works in Tel Aviv. Her practice centers on figurative, narrative drawing, often created in series using various techniques and spanning large working areas. She graduated with honors from the Faculty of Art and Design at Shenkar College (2007) and from the Postgraduate Fine Arts Program at Hamidrasha School of Art, Beit Berl College (2013). Kliger’s work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Israel and internationally, including the South African Jewish Museum, Cape Town (2024), the Petah Tikva Museum of Art (2022), the Tel Aviv Museum of Art (2018), OpenArt Biennale, Sweden (2017), and the Museum of Fine Art, Tallahassee, USA (2015). She has participated in residencies such as Fountainhead (Miami, 2015) and Cité internationale des arts (Paris, 2018), and her works are held in private collections in Israel and abroad.
