A Portrait of Tel Aviv

Maïell

2020

As Maïell's first edition, "A portrait of Tel Aviv" represents the fusion of the duo's photographic and editing visions. Hillel's photography collection, that consists of images of Tel Aviv made from 2017-2019, was enlightened and examined by Maïa, first coming to Tel Aviv in 2019. Together they edited Hillel's archive with Maïa's photographs of the city, bringing a foreign and fresh image of Tel Aviv. Following this edition, Maïell edited A created a second chapter entitled "A Portrait of Tel Aviv: Quarantine", that was photographed and edited in the city during the first COVID lockdown.
