A Strange Fire
Guy Banaim
2018
The book A Strange Fire, deals with personal stories and complex identities through photography. The book emphasizes a key principle: that of difference and multiplicity. It elevates the right of the individual or collective to adopt different practices in the areas of community, religion, education, gender and sexuality. In the book there is a pocket that contains a booklet with a collection of texts written by those photographed (testimony, letter, poetry), thus allowing another way for getting to know them.
