Accounting of the Soul

My friend Fred Sandback, was a respected artist. He had everything a creative person could want: museum shows, critical acclaim, financial reward, as well as children, grandchildren, and a happy marriage. Why would he end his life? After years, his death remains a confusing mystery to me. On behalf of artists who struggle with typical professional fate: benign art-world neglect, ongoing struggle for recognition, and financial survival, Accounting of the Soul utilizes an accountant's year-end financial report, to explore the meaning of an old friend's suicide.
