Books for Tu B'Shvat
Tu B'Shvat, the new year of the trees, is celebrated on the 15th of the Jewish month Shvat because the fruits that develop on the tree from this stage grow due to the rains of the new year. Some celebrate the holiday with the Tu B'Shvat Seder, with religious texts in praise of the land and its fruits and prayers for the success of the harvest, but most of us know it as a time to sow, plant, grow, and blossom. It seems that this year the holiday has a particularly important value: the importance of volunteering to help the farmers of Southern Israel gave a different meaning to the local harvest and fruits of the land. May the rains of this year also bring buds of hope. In the books I have chosen, you can flip through and read in a Tu B'Shvat Seder, or just on the balcony after the rain.
