In my mother's recipe book, written in her handwriting, stains remain.
I repaint with my own fingers, the grease stains and her fingerprints, which stained the pages of the recipe book, using black copy paper and honey.
The negligible stains burned into the pages of the recipes, pass through my painting and seep into the viewer's soul as a new memory.

Gali Popper, born in 1958, lives, creates and teaches in Haifa. Graduated from Art Studies at the Art Seminary in Ramat Hasharon . Graduated goldsmith studies at the Academic Institute for Design and Education Wizo Haifa. Studied directing, film shooting and documentary film editing as well as photography at the Academic Institute for Design and Education Wizo Haif.
